Well, here we go! Aubrey and I met a few short months ago. Now we have a band, an upcoming EP, a website… even buttons! It’s already felt like a bit of a ride – and we haven’t even gone anywhere yet. First there was getting the Skylark booking and pushing ourselves to have a full set ready. Did it – 9 songs, 7 originals, a few of them brand new. Then we pushed ourselves to record right away before Aubrey went on a long trip. Did it – got 6 world debut songs down on tape, the raw tracks that would become our 4-song EP. Already a lot of extremely rewarding hard work and hustle. A wondrous foundation for much more rewarding hard work to come.
